UPIX 2014-2015

Begun in the Fall of 2013, this project involves students in the development of a new, more ergonomic version of the UPIX, the latest version developed by the CEMAMu dates from 2001. The software resulting from the first stage, delivered in June by a team of seven students in the University of Rouen’s Master program in Computer Engineering, was baptized UPIX2014.

The general architecture of the software is now defined. UPIX can run on multiple platforms: Linux, OSX, Windows. The project will continues over the long term with the renewal of the project for a second and third year, which will enable a stable and usable application in the real world of music production.
